All data provided by the customer is assumed to be owned by them.
All data and prescriptions are considered confidential and will not be shared or made viewable to other parties for any reason without express written consent of the customer.
All data used in processing will be in password protected projects in farm management software, including but not limited to Ag Leader SMS.
All project data will be backed up after each session and stored in a secure location.
Upon delivery and payment, ownership of all data created by DFG Farms will be transferred to the customer.
In the case of termination of this working agreement, all data will be deleted from all computers, servers and devices.
Prescriptions and Setup Files
All prescriptions must be reviewed by the customer, preferably with the customer’s trusted agronomist, prior to acceptance for accuracy of rate and distribution.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that when loaded into a machine for application that the rates represent those agreed upon in the prescriptions summary provided by DFG Farms.
Rates should be continuously checked based on the weight or count of product applied on a known area.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that application equipment is properly calibrated to ensure that the rate applied matches the rate prescribed.
In many cases, VR rates will be higher than the machine has previously applied. The customer is to monitor the machine to ensure that it is properly responding to these rates.
Due to the width of the machine, the applied average rate will seldom exactly match the average prescription rate. Post application analysis is included in the prescription fee.
DFG Farms assumes no responsibility for under or over applied product after the prescription file is accepted by the customer.
Field boundaries and guidance lines transferred from one machine to another, or generated by software MUST be checked for accuracy of location in the field before engaging any auto steering mechanism or applying product.
DFG Farms will not be held responsible for any data loss incurred while loading files into machine controllers, updating firmware, retrieving data, etc.
VR scripts do not always result in increased yield or profitability. DFG Farms offers no guarantee of increased yield or profitability resulting from the prescriptions produced.
Hardware
All new hardware sold is covered by manufacturer’s warranty.
Any used hardware sold by DFG Farms will be considered ‘as-is’ unless otherwise specified.
